Big Crumbs: Save Some More While Shopping

I have finally jumped on the cash back bandwagon through Big Crumbs. Basically, here is how it works -

1. You have seen a deal and want to buy it

2. Sign up for Big Crumbs (click on the banner at the top right of this blog)

3. Search for this retailer’s website on Big Crumbs (they have almost every retailer listed)

4. Click through their website to the retailer’s website

5. Complete your shopping

6. Earn cash back in your Big Crumbs account

Basically, what is happening is that retailers pay websites like Big Crumbs a commission which in turn is shared with you. So you still buy the same stuff you want at a website you want, but just save a bit more in the process. Big Crumbs does not save any of your personal information other than that needed to pay out your cash back – so no credit card or bank account data (nor do they ask for it). This cash back is paid out typically 2-3 months after the purchase is complete & reported to Big Crumbs by the retailer.

Here is an example of how this will work. T-Mobile is selling a refurbished prepaid Nokia Nuron phone on its website. While the phone is $49.99 + taxes, you save an additional $12 if you go through Big Crumbs. So, same phone, same retailer, but a lower cost to you.

And yes, I do make some money if you sign up through my referral link (but not as much as you the shopper will). I thought it would pay for some of the effort I put in for finding deals.

Oh, and by the way, if you sign up and pass on your own referral link to your friends, you make money too when they shop.
