If you have a Coinstar machine near you (I have seen these in several Kroger stores), then you are in luck. Collect all the loose change you have in the house adding up to at least $40 (or get some from the US mint, check this deal) and go deposit them in a nearby Coinstar machine. Opt for a gift card like Amazon in exchange (else you pay a commission) and get a $10 bonus gift card via mail-in rebate. Essentially, you give $40 and get back $50.
This is a repeat of last year’s deal and that worked very well. The current offer is valid until Dec 7. Limit one rebate per household.
