I am a huge proponent of mail-in rebates since they help make some deals really hot. Those who hate rebates are the ones who don’t follow the basic rules of mail-in rebates – keep a track of everything, make copies of every document and note down every interaction you have with the rebate processor’s customer service.

I have lost less than $200 in over $60k of rebate submissions, but sadly, what is depicted the cartoon is true for for too many people.
