Pentagon Federal Credit Union is offering a hot 2.49% APR rate for auto loans. This is applicable to new cars, used cars and refinancing an existing loan. For those who do not know Penfed, it’s the nation’s second largest credit union and one of the safest. You need to be eligible to become a member but its quite easy.

No idea how long this offer will last. Incidentally, my mortgage is through Penfed; been very happy with their service.
