Office Depot will have a nice Acer Core 2 Duo laptop on sale for $499.99 after a $125 mail-in rebate. You will also pay tax on $624.99. Given the features – 3GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, Core 2 Duo processor, 15.4” LCD, integrated webcam & microphone, etc. – this is a pretty good price.
Office Depot item number is 109445. This is a repeat of the Memorial Day deal I had posted earlier. Looks like this office is in store only. So if you want this laptop, buy it today, then go back to the store any time in the sale period to do a return-rebuy and be eligible for the rebate with a fresh receipt.
