I had mentioned this card less than a month ago on my post on cashback cards. Well, here we are in June and American Express has announced it will drop the cashback percentage on gas purchases from 5% to 3% effective July 15.
Not a surprise given the higher discounts that card issuers will have to pay out with the ever increasing price of gas. I wonder if Penfed and Chase will follow suit.
