Office Depot is selling the Acer Extensa 4420-5239 laptop for $525 with a $125 mail-in rebate making the final price $399.99 before taxes.
This machine has pretty decent features for home use – AMD dual core processor, 2GB RAM, 120GB hard drive, 14.1” LCD, integrated webcam, etc.
However, the feature set is not as strong as the Compaq deal posted earlier in the week – the processor is a bit slower, hard drive is smaller as is screen and the 0.3MP webcam doesn’t make any sense at all. These are not exactly deal breakers at this price point so if you need to buy a machine, this might be it.
Sale begins August 10 and ends August 16.
