This sale is from Office Depot and starts on Sunday, August 24. On sale is the HP dv2911us laptop computer for $784.99. There are two mail-in rebates on this machine – one for $135 from Office Depot itself and one for $50 from HP. After rebates, the price is $599.99 + any applicable tax on the pre-rebate price.
This machine has a pretty good feature set – Intel Core 2 Duo processor @ 1.83GHz, 3GB RAM, 250GB SATA hard drive, 14.1” LCD, Super Multi DVD burner, wireless networking, memory card reader, webcam, remote control, etc. + all the standard stuff.
My recent experience with both HP and Office Depot rebates has been very good with checks getting processed within 5 weeks after mailing in the forms.
