This is part of Office Depot’s Labor Day sale starting August 31. This is a Gateway laptop model M-6881 with the following features – Core 2 Duo T5750 processor, 3GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, 15.4” screen, DVD burner, built-in webcam & microphone plus all the other usual goodies.
The product page is bare because its a discontinued, but full featured, model and a great price. The sale is NOT online, you have to buy in store. If you want it, then buy it today since availability is very limited, then go back to the store on August 31 when the sale starts and ask them to do a return-repurchase to get a new receipt and qualify for the rebate.
Edit: The in store price is $594.99. A mail-in rebate of $125 gives the final price of $479.99. The sale price and rebate are valid only till Monday, Sept 1.
