Similar to the laptop mentioned in an earlier post, here is another one for just $399.99 after rebates from Circuit City. While the specs are identical (AMD dual core TK-57 processor, 2GB RAM, 120GB hard drive, web cam, etc.) to the earlier machine from Office Depot, this laptop has a bigger screen at 15.4”.

Acer makes very good machines but for some reason, they are under-appreciated in the US markets.
By the way, if you want to get some more free stuff like a printer, router, internet security software – it is also available free after multiple rebates from Circuit City when you buy a computer at the same time. In my opinion, the router is the only decent deal in this package, don’t spend money on the ink-guzzling printer or on the software.
The laptop offer ends August 2, but I doubt if there will be anything left much before that.
